Rewe, Edeka and Denner already offer Fungi Pad. But it's not just another meat substitute, it's a “real alternative” - that's the idea behind Fungi Pad, an organic vegetarian food based on the popular and healthy king oyster mushroom.
The creators behind it are father and son Hermann and Thomas Neuburger from Ulrichsberg, Austria, where the production facility, including the mushroom cultivation, is located.
The Fungi Pad and its brand – Hermann.Bio – is a mono-brand. At the cooking workshop in Munich, media representatives and influencers had the opportunity to try out four dishes with Viennese chef Karl Wrenkh and indulge in the experience. Recently, the Italy Style and Barbecue variations have become especially popular, thanks to their flavorful seasonings.
